These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the CK-Travelers Australia website and the booking services we provide. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. About CK-Travelers Australia

CK-Travelers Australia Pty Ltd ("CK-Travelers Australia", "we", "us") is a disclosed travel agent registered in Australia. We act as an intermediary between you (the client) and travel service suppliers (airlines, accommodation providers, tour operators, and other service providers). We do not own or operate the travel services we arrange on your behalf.

2. Agency disclosure

As a disclosed travel agent, we act as your agent in arranging travel services. This means:

• We negotiate and book services on your behalf with third-party suppliers
• Contracts for travel services are between you and the supplier — not with us
• We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of suppliers, except to the extent they result from our negligence
• Service fees charged by CK-Travelers Australia are separate from supplier prices and are disclosed upfront

3. Bookings and confirmation

A booking is only confirmed when:

• You have received written confirmation from CK-Travelers Australia
• Required deposits or full payment has been received
• Supplier confirmation has been obtained

Verbal or WhatsApp quotes are indicative only and are subject to change until a written booking confirmation is issued.

4. Pricing and fees

All prices displayed on our website are in Australian dollars (AUD) and are indicative only. Final pricing is confirmed at the time of booking. Prices may change due to airline fare adjustments, currency fluctuations, fuel surcharges, or supplier price changes.

Our service fees are disclosed prior to booking. These fees are separate from any supplier charges and are non-refundable unless we have failed to provide the agreed services.

Prices include taxes and levies as stated. Government taxes, airline fuel surcharges, and airport fees are included unless explicitly stated otherwise.

5. Payment

Payment terms are confirmed at the time of booking and vary depending on the supplier and travel dates. Typically:

• A deposit may be required to secure bookings
• Full payment is required by the due date specified in your booking confirmation
• Late payment may result in cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any deposits paid

We accept payment via methods disclosed at the time of booking. All payments are processed securely.

6. Cancellations and changes

Cancellation and change policies are set by individual suppliers and vary significantly. We will advise you of applicable cancellation terms at the time of booking. Generally:

• Flights are subject to airline fare rules — many economy fares are non-refundable
• Accommodation cancellation terms vary by property and rate type
• Tour and package cancellations may incur penalties depending on notice period

CK-Travelers Australia service fees are non-refundable on cancellation unless we are at fault.

7. Travel documents and requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you hold valid travel documents, including:

• Valid passport (with appropriate validity for your destination)
• Required visas and entry permits
• Vaccination certificates where required
• Any other entry requirements for your destination

We provide general guidance on visa and entry requirements but cannot guarantee accuracy as these change frequently. You must verify current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or Smartraveller prior to travel.

8. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for all trips. Travel insurance can cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, lost luggage, and other unforeseen events. We can provide general information about travel insurance options, but we recommend you compare policies independently.

9. Liability

CK-Travelers Australia is not liable for:

• Any act, error, omission, or default of any travel supplier
• Personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from travel services arranged on your behalf
• Events beyond our control (force majeure) including natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government actions
• Delays, cancellations, or changes made by suppliers

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

10. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us in the first instance. We aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may escalate it through the ATAS dispute resolution process or to the relevant consumer protection authority.

12. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date indicates when changes were last made. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
